Cellist/Composer Shares New Work About Living with Autism

Join From the Top as we celebrate World Autism Day with Adam Mandela Walden’s performance of The Reason I Jump: The Inner Voice of a 13-Year-Old Boy with Autism, Mvmt IV, Elopement Tango by Adam Mandela Walden and Eugene Friesen, lyrics based on the text by Naoki Higashida.

This performance was part of From the Top’s Disability, Artistry, and Community: Forging a Future event held at GBH Fraser Studio, Boston, MA. From the Top Alum, Co-Host and Content Advisor Julia LaGrand facilitated a free performance and panel discussion centered around empowering disabled artists now and in the future.
