A Festive Klezmer Celebration

To celebrate the first night of Hanukkah, we are sharing an original piece of Klezmer music by alum Jeremiah Klarman that has a festive spirit. Jeremiah’s piece is entitled “Greser Vi Dos Leben” (Larger Than Life) and is dedicated to his grandfather.

This performance was recorded for a special episode of From the Top in 2015. Performers include: Eddie Pogossian, 18, cello; Kevin Miura, 12, violin; Martin Kocev, 17, clarinet; Caroline Joyner, 17, violin; Claire Walter, 18, violin; Chris Rogers-Beadle, 17, viola; and Erica Ogihara, 17, cello.
