Washington Performing Arts Children of the Gospel Choir will have you on your feet with their fabulous performance of Joy Comin’ by Brent Jones.

They are led by the incredible Michele Fowlin, Artistic Director. Pierce Pearson is the soloist.

Today’s Daily Joy is dedicated to Anya Grundmann, NPR’s Senior VP for Programming and Audience Development. Her roots in radio and passion for music go back to her early days as an intern and eventual editor of Performance Today. We thank Anya for championing From the Top and leading important efforts at our beloved NPR. We celebrate Anya as she goes on to new adventures and all the joy that will be comin’ her way!

Daily Joy is a project of From the Top. It began in the very early days of the Covid-19 pandemic and continues today to offer a much-needed respite from the anxiety and worry that we encounter in the world.
