Sean performs on Show 484.

Sean Mouzon (French horn), 18, is from Stonecrest, Georgina, and has over nine years of experience on the horn and seven years on the mellophone. Sean is a Regional Performing Artist with Conn Selmer and also serves as Principal horn for the Southwest DeKalb Wind Symphony and section leader in the Southwest DeKalb Marching Band.

Sean is an active student leader of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra and a proud member of the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony. Since 2023, he has studied privately with Principal Horn Ryan Little and Associate Principal Horn Andrew Burhans of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra as a participant of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s Talent Development Program. Sean also serves as the Atlanta Director of High School Operations for Noteworthe Music, a non profit that puts on concerts for those with brain disease.

Sean’s achievements include serving as Principal Horn of the GMEA All-State Band as well as Principal Horn for both the Georgia District and County Honor Bands. During the Summer of 2025, Sean participated in both the Atlanta Horn Festival and Boston University Tanglewood Institute.

His musical experiences also extend internationally. In the Summer of 2025, he completed a European performance tour with the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony, broadening his artistic perspective on a global stage. In the summer of 2024, he was selected for the Governor’s Honors Program (GHP ’61), where he furthered his musical studies among the state’s most talented young artists.

Outside of music, Sean is a member of the National Honor Society and is a Georgia Merit Scholar. He enjoys watching Marvel movies, gaming videos, playing tennis, pickleball, and swimming. He plans to pursue a degree in Music Performance with the long-term goal of advancing as a professional horn player and performing artist.
