Julian Tugaoen (viola), 19, from Westerville, OH is a sophomore at Capital University. His teachers include Deborah Price of the Chamber Music Connection, and Mary Ann Minnis, Cynthia Konzen, and Robert Firdman. As a member of the Dajj Quartet, Julian won Gold Medal and Haydn Prize at St. Paul String Quartet Competition in St. Paul, MN and First Place and Audience Prizes at the Young Chamber Musicians Competition in Davidson, NC. Julian enjoys writing letters, snowboarding, styling/fashion, exercising, and spending time with family.

Daily Joy is a project of From the Top. It began in the very early days of the Covid-19 pandemic and continues today to offer a much-needed respite from the anxiety and worry that we encounter in the world.
