For today’s Daily Joy, 11-year-old guitarist Emilia Diaz-Delgado she’s sharing her arrangement of “All is Found” from Disney’s Frozen 2. The song reminds her that even when we hit rock bottom, ”there’s always a way out.”

Emilia Diaz Delgado (guitar), 11, is a fifth grader from Santa Clara, California. She studies guitar with Scott Cmiel at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she has performed in various recitals. Emilia has also played with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Sonora in Mexico, and in fundraising and community concerts. Her proudest achievements include organizing a fundraising concert to protect Arctic Refuge from oil drilling and winning 2nd Place in the 2020 SF CalASTA competition. Emilia loves nature, playing to the birds from her front porch, reading, crafts, and making jokes.
Music has the unique ability to bring joy to our lives – especially in the hands of young people. Daily Joy is a reminder of music’s power to uplift, inspire, and unite.
Daily Joy is a project of From the Top. It began in the very early days of the Covid-19 pandemic and continues today to offer a much-needed respite from the anxiety and worry that we encounter in the world.
