11-year-old pianist Ezra Lewis plays Chopin’s fantastic Fantasie Impromptu. It’s a treat to see Ezra master both the fast and frenzied phrases and the smooth and lyrical moments of this performance.

Ezra Lewis (piano), 11, is in the sixth grade at Oak Hill Middle School in Newton, Massachusetts. He studies piano with Dr. Jonathan Bass at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School, and his previous teachers include Jayoung Kim and Rita Moerschel. He also studies jazz with Zahili Gonzalez Zamora. In addition to his solo work, Ezra enjoys playing chamber music. When he’s not playing the piano, Ezra enjoys reading, writing, playing tennis, and caring for his pet axolotl, Peach.
