When California-based guitarist Conor Padmanabhan arrived in Boston in February 2020 to appear on From the Top, it was his first-ever experience seeing SNOW!
Conor warmed things up with a fiery performance of Joaquín Turina’s Sonata for Guitar.
Palo Alto, California Conor appeared on Show 382, recording on February 6, 2020 at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston.
Conor Padmanabhan (guitar), 16, from Palo Alto, California is a high school junior, who studies guitar with Scott Cmiel at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College Division. Conor was a prizewinner in the National YoungArts Foundation Competition in both 2019 and 2020. He was also the first-place winner of the 2018 statewide guitar competition of the California Chapter of the American String Teacher’s Association. Conor was also the first non-pianist to perform for the Steinway Society of the Bay Area. In his spare time, Conor enjoys hanging out with friends and watching action and comedy movies.
