18-year-old guitarist Aryan Shrivastava from Saratoga, California, performs excerpts from Variaciones sobre un tema de Sor, Op. 15 by Miguel Llobet. Inspired by a theme from Spanish composer Fernando Sor, the piece draws on La Folia, a Spanish dance. The music grows increasingly wild, says Aryan, eventually “devolving into madness.” Experience this dramatic musical journey for yourself!
